Wastewater Design

When it comes to installing wastewater treatment systems for your project, NWIS can accommodate a wide variety of sizes, budgets, and other custom specifications to make sure your development meets all sewer requirements. From commercial and institutional facilities to housing developments of any size range, we can install community sewerage systems to fit your space and your project’s schedule.

Here are a few things you can expect when you choose to partner with us for your wastewater treatment system:

MEETS ALL REGULATIONS

All of our systems are designed to meet OSHA’s safety regulations and “Ten States Standards” requirements, and we are prepared to accommodate even the strictest rules, such as discharge limits of 5mg/L of BOD, 5mg/L of TSS, 2mg/L of Ammonia Nitrogen and 5mg/L of Phosphorus.

UPGRADES AVAILABLE

Not only can we install new systems that meet specific guidelines, but we can update your outdated ones as well. If your existing facility has new requirements it needs to meet, we can easily upgrade it for you. This can help if your development will discharge into a Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) stream, which requires more stringent limits.

CUSTOMIZABLE

Our options are flexible, and we can help you come up with a plan that accommodates your desired budget and footprint size, depending on the requirements of your site. We’ll be your partner in finding the perfect sewer to fit your project. If you’d like to learn more about specific options, sizing, pricing, and overall sewer design, please fill out the contact form below, and we’ll be happy to help get you started.

Package Treatment Systems

Package treatment systems are designed to treat wastewater to meet different levels of effluent quality so it can be safely released into the environment, such as rivers or streams. Our team can operate, maintain and repair these systems as well as evaluate their performance.

Lift & Pump Stations

A lift station, also called a pump station, is present in facilities when gravity flow is not an optimal choice due to elevation or restrictions. Lift station systems can be utilized in both sanitary and stormwater applications. There are many different types and applications of lift stations and NWIS can design and build these to meet any and all specifications.

LDH/DEQ Permit Applications

Our team is well-versed in LDH/DEQ permit applications and regulatory compliance for wastewater systems, which are required to operate and maintain these systems. We offer to help facilitate permit applications and navigate regulatory requirements to determine which applications and compliance measures apply.
